A must have for anyone who wants to turn the internet on and off instantly with the push of a button before bed or whatever for security reasons. .Connect RJ45 (internet) to INPUT/OUTPUT PORT, second RJ45 to PORT 1 to main switch (which distributes internet to everything if you want to end internet for whole network including wireless devices) or can be used to isolate a specific one can computers on the network. and leave PORT 2 alone (no RJ45 connection at all). BTW this is a 1Gb port, not 100Mb in/out which is fair
