Pros: I ordered 3 of these because Insteon stopped making their wall panels and they recommended them to me. This is exactly the same design as the Insteon I already have. Cons: I opened the first of 3 and my first thought was that I was sent a previously used item that was being returned. It is the one in the photo with two darker spots, in addition to abrasions throughout the wall panel. upset. I opened the other 2 and while they aren't as bad as the first one, they also had scuffs and stains all over them. Disappointed. In comparison, the dozen Insteons I already own, as mentioned, with the same design, are all flawless! I don't know if they weren't properly separated during/after production so they don't scratch each other's shiny surfaces or if it's because they don't apply protective film after production to protect the surface. It's such a beautiful wall plate, but it will eventually get scratched before it reaches the customer. I do need them though so I place them in more hidden spots and use the ones I have from Insteon which are perfect for conspicuous areas. manufacturer, but no answer. Maybe because it's such a minor product compared to everything else they sell.
