Great for tracing and cutting out washi prints
Bought for my wife who wanted him to trace and cut out stickers from prints on her rolls of washi. Works well. Absolute beginners like you have a very short learning curve. Use a very light hand when only carving washi. You don't really have to press. Light pressure makes it easier to rotate and the blade tip to glide smoothly along the curves. THING ROLLS so don't put it on a table without a lid or something to secure it or you might start chasing after it. Otherwise it works perfectly and we have nothing to complain about.
