SEE THE PHOTOS: I bought these shelves to fit in a closet and needed something with a solid top. Saw them and they were cheap and didn't hurt my eyes so they went in my shopping cart. I realized they needed to be picked up when they arrived and that still didn't stop me as I really enjoy collecting things and I have the means to do so. However, things went wrong at the time. First, it comes with an Allen wrench *no way* like a horrible price of cereal. But then again, never mind, I have the tools. First I assembled a large shelf and the pilot holes were slightly offset. The big problem, however, was that the height of the legs on the shelf made it impossible to use a standard Phillips screwdriver. So I had to break out my square bit and force the screws into alignment with elbow grease. Then he landed on the second smaller shelf, and it was a lot worse. The holes were so misaligned that I had to drill new pilot holes to bring the metal legs together. The metal legs then buckled so I had to step on them to make them flush with the wood countertop so I could drill through them. After all this I finally have 2 shelves that are functional and look amazing. If I didn't have a power tool and extra attachments I wouldn't be able to assemble them. If you have them, add them to the cart, otherwise I would refuse.
