This is the best travel cot I have ever bought (I literally have 5 of them). Our elderly dachshund had spinal surgery and needed a bed where she could rest and travel (as I have her with me all day - taking her to work etc) and one where I could lay her down and take her back gently could lay without putting too much strain on her back. It's perfect for all of our needs. I have received more compliments on this travel cot in the last month than I have ever received from all of our other travel cots combined (we have three small dogs that take us almost everywhere). It is easy to carry and looks like a baby carrier. (A couple of times people literally thought I was having a baby.) Best buy. Our healthy bitch steals it whenever she can. Oh, and the tether is long enough that you can attach a dog poop bag holder to it and tuck it over the edge so it hangs over the outside of the bed and you can still close and snap the bedspread properly. Poop bags, always in stock! It has helped us many times.
