Review on 🚔 LycoGear Easy Magnet Adhesive Mount for Escort & Beltronics Radar Detectors - MAX360C, MAX 3 EX, iX, GT-1, GT-360, Cobra DualPro 360 by Todd Calloway

First of all I think this mounting solution is a great idea. Anyone who has used an Escort radar detector for years knows that the supplied suction cup mounts wear out over time. I've tried various mounts including rearview mirror mounts and they don't seem to work. Rattle due to weight and tend to loosen over time. However, I doubt that LycoGear actually tested this product. The two pieces are connected because they don't form a very strong attachment point, and are quite loose, resulting in a lot of bouncing. Also, I'm not sure yet That's a problem with everyone but on the first unit i got the magnet kept coming out of the mount itself and stuck strongly to the radar and not the mount. In this condition, due to the strength of both the mounting magnet and the internal magnet on the detector, it's quite difficult to remove the magnet from the detector itself (I have to use something big and metallic to pull it out like a toolbox). . tried to contact LycoGear but still had problems.
