I've been using subscribe and save on my filters lately but I'm having trouble with them becoming corrupted. This time the box was not damaged, but there is a damage circle on the filter. I will have to buy them locally again. Here is my review of these filters. I've used many different powers but lowered them a bit due to cost. SHORT ANSWER: These filters are great and I can tell a difference when I use a higher quality filter, but this can vary depending on what level I started with and how clean it is. The house used to be a high filter. Remember to check the air filter regularly as a dirty filter can cause the coils to freeze and will need to be unplugged to defrost. Don't forget to check your air conditioning/heating and tell them to turn the line off (they don't usually, but they should). LONG REVIEW: Used until 2800. I live in a place where I get very sick from all the pollution, pollen, dust and smoke from various burned things from abroad in winter. How well they work... well, it depends on how you live your life. We keep our windows and doors closed most of the time and always leave the air conditioning (heater) fan running so it's always cleaning the air that's been recommended to us. If you have pets and often open windows and doors and keep them open, you will have a hard time keeping the air clean. The cleaner your home, the better it gets at vacuuming, dusting, etc. We have a box fan with 20x20 filters. We tried them, then stopped and now we're using them again. We started using 1500 and recently upgraded to 1900. At first I thought it was really just a physiological improvement when using the 2800 filter, but I upgraded our fan filters from 1500 to 1900 and found that they get dirty quickly. . After this observation, I believe that they are important. How fast can it clean your air? Depends on your life (mentioned above) and the size of the house. I have found that cleaning our small house can take about a month. The higher you climb, the clearer the visual difference becomes. The larger filter looks different, with more pleats and a stronger wire section at the front and back. NOTE** If you don't replace the filter when it's dirty, the coils can freeze due to poor airflow and you'll have to leave the air conditioner off for a while to melt the coils. ** Regular maintenance can prevent problems. Make sure your A/C/Oven is correct for the inspection year and TELL THEM TO CLEAN THE LINE (they don't always do this automatically) as it can clog and cause flooding. ** AC does not turn on, also check the batteries. Sure there are others, but that's either happened to me personally or I've heard about it and wanted to pass that knowledge on.
