From the start I felt good with my hand. A little heavy on the handle, but not bad. Check with a tomato (see video). I like it! Finally a knife that can really cut! Who would have thought that. The tomato was easily sliced. I call that a knife. It has a certain weight, which I also like. This isn't one of those cheap, ultra-lightweight knives. I have a couple of Wusthof knives that are well over 20 years old and now need to sharpen them regularly, but I would say this knife is superior to my old ones. Give it a try - at least you know you can return it to Revain if you don't like it. I'll definitely keep mine.
