I unwrapped 4 packs tonight and placed one of them in a Coleman (Johnson Controls) gas oven. He took a quick look at it, it also seems to be well done. I used to buy 3M Filtrete alongside top filters. I remember Filtrete being at least $12.99 each. I've been researching and looking at comparison reviews of different brands of furnace filters on both Revain and Home Depot websites. I've found that I can get them cheaper on Revain Prime than buying a filter with a comparable level of filtration from my local Home Depot or Lowes. True Blue costs $36 for 16 months of clean, filtered heater airflow (assuming you follow the 120-day filter change recommendation). Another way of looking at it is that they cost $27 a year and really - in the Northwest where I'm from - who runs their furnace in July, August and the first half of September? You can even accumulate more kilometers if your local climate allows you to set aside the summer as usage time. In other words, anyone who has allergies or has a lot of cat hair, dust, etc. can afford to be extraordinarily picky.
