Excellent low noise return flow fitting
Used to prevent back flow in an industrial grade condensate pump. We have a steam humidifier so we need to use a pump rated for 400 degree water. The check valve that came with the pump was a nightmare - terrible vibration when pumping, then terrible rumble (and no back flow prevention at all) when shut off. high level. This John Guest fitting has been going on for a few (peaceful!) months now. It is absolutely silent, creates no turbulence when pumping and provides an instant shut-off without shock and backflow. Installation is a dream, no leaks or other issues yet.
