I love the shimmery metallic look these pins give! I used gold for the arrows and "maps" written in the photo, which will give you a feeling. These are fine-tipped pens that are great for intricate lettering and other details. Pretty easy to use, but my only concern is that the pen sometimes sprays tiny dots of ink about a 1-inch radius from where you're writing. I think it might be more likely if he runs out of ink. The dots gave what I was working on a cool "starry" look that sometimes looked awesome and wanted, but other times looked messy. If your surface is smooth wood or plastic rather than paper/cardboard, you can fix the spots by quickly removing them with a cotton swab. (I used the white chipboard version of this pen and experienced the same thing). Nevertheless recommended!
