My 5 year old son wanted a Batman cape and was having trouble finding it in local stores. Revane Prime is here to save the day! The only problem is that there are so many options and manufacturers that choosing the best one can be difficult. I wanted something that would stand up to the playful fury of a 5 year old and still look cool. Looking at the selection here at Revain I decided to take a chance with this one. It cost a little more, but I liked the fact that you can flip it and get Superman's cloak on the other side. Children often change their minds, and while today it might be Batman, tomorrow it might want to be Superman. I was a bit nervous when the package arrived, thinking it might just be a cheap rag with a Batman/Superman sticker on it. attached to. I was glad it was of pretty decent quality. The Batman/Superman logos are real patches. It is made from a very shiny polyester and all the stitching is beautifully done. It's basically two layers of polyester fabric (one red, one black) sewn together. You fasten it around your neck with Velcro. The care instructions state that this should be washed in cold water, hand washed and laid flat to dry. My son is 42" and I was afraid it would be too long for him. I didn't want him dragging on the floor and tripping over him. It comes to about the top of his calf. The real test was to see if it could he liked it. When you take it out of the box it looks like it's just Batman's cape. He was surprised to learn that the other side was also Superman. Now he keeps switching between them. I'm glad I did decided to go for it and was happy with the quality and fit for my son and of course he enjoys it too.
