Plugged in but didn't tell my husband about it. After 24 hours he noticed that the cat (we adopted a 6 year old) looked very different. She didn't scratch the carpet and furniture, and didn't hide under the sofa. BUT when I bought it, I noticed that it was slowly dripping onto the cat's feeding mat. The heat caused blisters to form on the rubber mat. That would not be good for my wooden floor. I turned it off and hope it stays just as good.
