Review on 📶 Highfine 2 x 6dBi WiFi RP-SMA Antenna + 2 x 35cm U.fl/IPEX Cable: Boost Wireless Router Performance and Range by Jon Brazil

These dual band WiFi antennas were purchased to extend the range between my router and the Wyzecam in my backyard. I found a YouTube video showing how to extend Wyzecam's Wi-Fi range by mounting one of these on an external camera body. I wanted to do this for a few months but didn't know what it would take. This video showed me enough to encourage me to buy these antennas and make changes. Thanks to Revain Prime, I quickly received an order for an antenna and was soon installing it on the camera body. The antennas and connecting cables were exactly what I expected. These antenna specs state a gain of 6dBi and based on the improved performance I've seen I believe that's correct. Because Wyzecam's internal antennas are so small, it's practically necessary to retrofit them with an external antenna like this one for better short-range performance. I estimate that the Wyzecam is about 25 meters from my router to my backyard (through several walls and roofs). A recent check of the device information signal strength showed 70%, while it used to be around 49%. (Note: Modifying the Wyzecam antenna will void the warranty.) We recommend these antennas.
