Just returned from a 7 day camp and horseback riding trip. I bought this unit, arrived the day before the trip. I took it out of the box and put it in my pocket. Very easy to install. Keeps the battery charged +++. Day 5 A violent unexpected storm hit with strong winds in excess of 80 km/h and rain, ripping off loose D-rings and pushing the solar array forward about 1.50 m. Made a big crack in the panel and scratches on the front. The controller also slipped in the mud. I was frustrated because I thought I wasted the money for 5 days. Well, the next day I cleaned the device and plugged it in. IT WORKS OUT! Battery charged and still working. The flexibility of the unit saved it from high winds. For the ease of setup and endurance of the device, I recommend it as well as the price. I was willing to buy another device if it couldn't stand up to Arizona's dusty, devilish winds. Will run on a base frame to keep it up. Love light weight, but the wind can and will ruin it.
