I certainly didn't want to buy another mop just to have a new sponge end. I had no idea what replacement would fit, but after reading some of the comments I figured out how to remove the existing sponge (twist those colored wedges, they look like screws or locks) and remove the end of the sponge. Then look at the mop's handle, where it was covered in sponge when it was in place, and ta-da, there's an interchangeable type of sponge! Thanks to those who shared this information here. It fits perfectly on my mop handle and is as easy as can be.
