Review on 🔌 Gearmo High-Speed USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter with FTDI Chip – Plug-and-Play for Windows 10/7 (32/64bit) by Elijah Pope

Bought to replace my old PL2303 Prolific adapter. The old adapter still works great and was passed on to a colleague, but it's hard to get a real Prolific these days with all the cheap fakes that don't work. To avoid all this headache I decided to use this FTDI based adapter. As others have said, ignore the included CD and download the FTDI drivers instead. So far I haven't had any problems with drivers or hardware.
