After years of holding crickets I've found this to be the best way to keep them hydrated without them to drown. I just keep a plastic spoon in the jar and fill it up as needed - they dry out depending on how dry the air is and the crickets use more when it gets hotter. At the same time, the goods are stored for a very long time. Even such a small container will last for months with large crickets in my area in the summer. Compared to other products I buy for my animals, the price of this material is negligible.
