This product did exactly what it was supposed to do. I covered the bolts in my new rims so they wouldn't damage the inner tube. I built a beach cruiser and bought new Nirve Wheels for it for my birthday. I added Schwalb Fat Frank tires and some inner tubes from a local bike shop. I got my tubes pumped the other day and when I got up the next morning they were flat. I had never assembled a bike before and had no idea "rim tape" existed. At the suggestion of a guy at a bike shop when I was there with a friend (who was buying a new mountain bike), I ordered rim tape. This material adhered easily to the rim and did an excellent job of covering the bolts. for spokes. I'm sure I won't have any more problems with screws damaging my tubes!
