It has been over a year and miles since I installed it. I am very happy with my 99 engine and my wife's 99 engine which we use to tow our 6 seater trailer. The only scam I encountered was during installation when you had to install them they didn't sit down. All you have to do is grab flat nose pliers or trace the plastic and appearance very, very carefully. It is located on the mating surface in the middle; You may have to grope for it as mine was hidden behind the foam. Remove that and voila, the two surfaces match perfectly.
