Update 4: I opened the junction box on the lamp and found that the weather seal is very flexible and can make it difficult to reinsert when installing the lamp (see 1st image). I also made a bracket to help me align the lamp when I mount it on the side of the house (see 2nd picture). Solid hardwood bracket, beveled at the top drain. The milled recess absorbs the light. Hole for electric cables. Update 5: Finally got it and wife loves it. It looks better than the lamp it replaced. The big complaint is that the junction box cover has such a flexible gasket that I couldn't put the gasket back on. Also, the tiny aluminum screws can easily fall and loosen, especially since my magnetic drivers won't hold them. Big bolts and not a flimsy gasket would be a great idea. Update 3: The replacement block works! MFG responded quickly and quickly sent me a replacement. The device feels solid and a bit heavy. Looks very solidly built. You will need a strong support for assembly. Now very happy with this device. Good price, great light. Timely response to block exchange. Will provide an update after I mount it. My initial review and updates 1 and 2 are below so you can see the story of what happened. 1. Rating: Out of the box. the electric eye clicks but there is no light. Update 1: As I missed Revain's 30 day return window, mfg replied to my email through Revain and offered to send me a replacement. The answer came in a few hours, which is very impressive. The next update will come when I receive the replacement. Update 2: The replacement light arrived very quickly and worked.
