I live in a small town in Texas where people LOVE to bump into their truck or car in the parking lot and just drive away. I tried using the bully bar stand but it moved slightly (and rattled) and they slammed it against the plastic on my bumper and dented the chrome on the bumper on both sides as it was too short (and sometimes hit my back door). ,. Well I saw and installed this product and in just 3 days 2 people have already used it. One drove away but hit it so hard it moved slightly to the left, which requires some work with a heavy duty anti-rattle clip. Neither the bumper nor the tailgate were damaged, the step was slightly scratched. The second person crashed into my taco bell leaving 2 scratches on it but again no bumper no tailgate. Nothing seems to have happened to your bumper.” Anyway, I'm happy, now I might even be able to replace my poor dented chrome and plastic bumper and tailgate! I highly recommend this product! Also, this step prevents people from walking under your truck, which happened to me as well.
