Review on 🔧 Dorman 905-512 Steering Shaft Bearing for Compatible Models by Jay Williamson

This part was installed approximately 6-8 months ago. Right after I put it in, the rattle that was driving me crazy seemed to go away. I left with a smile on my face for 2 months, the rattles returned. After browsing through some Chevy forums due to my desire to stop working on it, I noticed a known trend of people replacing the same part encountering the same problem. At this point, I started looking for a solution that didn't involve removal/ransom. The forum suggested a yoke large enough to enclose the apparatus. I did just that, installed, tightened, no more knocking. Knowing what I know now I would just buy a hose clamp and try that first before anything else. This particular solution has kept my truck quiet on rough roads for months.
