Good monitor for basic photo/video editing and casual gaming

I'm an amateur photographer/videographer (I sell merchandise but it's not my full-time job) and this monitor has been great for editing so far. I've had three 27" QHD (2K) monitors over the past few years, but I've recently gotten into drone photography and decided to replace one of the monitors with a larger one to make editing large landscape photos easier (it has helped). I also recently built a new computer and was looking to get a 4K monitor to take advantage of the updated graphics card (it was more of a "wish" than a "need" but it was definitely worth it). Gaming wise I'm too old to be hardcore lol. For the games I play - WOW, (non-hardcore) MOBAs, strategy/sims, etc - this monitor is a huge upgrade over the 27-inch QHD and delivers great performance. well packaged with no dead pixels or other problems. The stand isn't fancy, but it does the job, adjusting the height and angle more than my needs (I'll probably get a mount and mount it like my other two monitors to free up desk space). There were a few cables in the box, but my desk isn't far from my computer, so I ordered a longer cable (Cable Matters DP 1.4, 16ft) for $20 and it works great. The color space and brightness of the monitor are great for my needs and it's easy to calibrate with my Spyder. I didn't use speakers. If you need over a billion colors, built-in hardware color calibration, or insane refresh rates, this monitor isn't for you—or you'll have to pay for a smaller monitor. more. But for general use this is a great monitor for the price! I've been using it for 2 weeks and I'm very happy with my purchase.
