Water really tastes better immediately! There's plenty of reverse osmosis water for fridge water and ice with the "mini tank" ($25) as well as reverse osmosis and "Insta-Hot" faucets! I sent the Waterdrop 400 back after it ran all the time and wasn't producing enough water (and it's just the two of us). When they called Waterdrop, they admitted their ads are misleading (deliberately not revealing true capabilities) and their system can no longer handle RO output. Frizzlife is still new but quieter and produces a lot more water! It only works when making reverse osmosis water. I also ordered the PX500-'A' model to add some mineralization for flavor as pure reverse osmosis water tastes flat.
