This can crusher is decent. I think it will survive the "binding problem" that seems to come after just a week or two of use. I believe this crusher would be better if there was some sort of bearing surface rather than painted metal on a painted metal chute. At the moment the can press is still working, doesn't look unstable and is definitely doing its job. The problem is that the movable lid that actually squeezes the bottles/cans slides like stamped metal on stamped metal and not on any supporting surface. . It needs either roller bearings or a PTFE (or similar) surface/block to prevent metal from seizing and rubbing against metal. time with it. I'll probably end up putting some lube on it to keep it from seizing so badly. For the price it's not bad. I wasn't expecting fantastic and I got almost what I expected. Edit: It's been a month or two. About every week I put a drop of gun oil on each side of the bearing surface. It binds less and serves its purpose.
