I wanted something that would keep birds out of our windows. We love watching them all and we have feeding stations in many places. Our New Hampshire woods are home to many birds in the spring, summer, and fall, but we also have birds year-round in the winter. We tried films recommended by some birding sites but it didn't always work. We were lucky that only a few people died, most were simply stunned. Since using these butterfly stickers on our windows, we haven't had a ONE bird accident. We didn't put them on all the windows, just a few in the corners where the light hits. They are beautiful and work like Colorforms. This is a vinyl material that sticks very well to the window but not with glue so it comes off very easily. I love that they are so beautiful and so protective of our bird friends. They come in different sizes and colors.
