This is a well made scope for the price and the optics are very good for clarity and detail. For casual observation or occasional use in astronomy, especially when traveling, this is a good choice given its compact profile. and focusing is quite easy and comfortable. The C90 with a 90mm lens and 1250mm focal length is a tiny f13 aperture (focal ratio = 1250/90 = 13) on your camera. This is of course a weak image. This might work on a mirrorless camera where the electronic viewfinder can brighten/lighten to give your image a little more brightness, but on my D500 and D850 DSLRs the image was too dark to really enjoy . I'll be back and probably spend the extra money on a telescope that has at least a few more ports to collect light. For what the Celestron C90 is, it's a great buy, except for on-camera use. . As mentioned, if you have a mirrorless camera with an electronic viewfinder things can take a turn for the better, but for using a DSLR I would look elsewhere.
