Simple and effective solution
Great idea. My only complaint is that the spring loaded cap is really cheap and will likely break. This can be a problem as it ties the two ends of the cords together and a break can cause the trailer seat belt to fall out and be dragged down the road. I tie an extra cord to the trailer cord so it doesn't fall to the ground if it falls out.
