I rarely was able to remember to drink the required amount of water for my medical needs. This bottle put me on track. I like the motivational wording on the gradient measures. It makes me smile. I tried carrying the bottle with me and it's quite large so it's heavy when filled. I couldn't "lug" it around with me comfortably so I still use my average water bottle when out of the house. This is my "home" bottle and is perfect to stay on track. I have had it leak if the lid wasn't put on tightly. It's a tad tricky to seat the lid with the straw and a learned touch. I just remember to not knock it over if someone else fills it for me. It doesn't leak when knocked over if it's closed and locked properly. I put it on my nightstand at night and if I wake up during the night I can lean over and get a drink easily. That was a bonus for me. I can leave it on the table, desk, or counter and easily walk up and drink from the straw to keep my daily water consumption on track. I love this bottle! I love the strap!
