The plastic threads on the mandrel cut too easily.
The mandrel thread of this cutting disc is made of plastic. When cutting 1/4 inch thick steel the threads broke and indeed the wheel began to slip under load. I used a 7" Dewalt grinder. So I need to remove the mandrel and use a disc with a 7/8 hole. To do this, the grinder needed a washer with a 7/8 internal diameter.
