I really hoped to buy after reading the reviews. However, after just a week of minimal use and gentle hand washing with mild detergent, they began to tear and the beautiful shine was gone. I have attached a photo. The spoon on the left was used the most, and I included a closeup of its cleavage. The middle spatula has been used once or twice and its shine is already beginning to fade. The right spoon is also used a lot and you can see the difference in the shine from handle to spoon.
