Bought a pair of these to replace some of the old, caked/rusted on an old trailer. First, they work great and look great on the trailer. They were of the same basic design as the old ones the trailer had, but these new ones had a plastic body (the old ones were steel) and the mounting studs were a little wider or closer together than the old ones (can't remember exactly). ), so I had to enlarge the existing mounting holes on the trailer to fit. Not a big deal but just thought I'd share it as you might get the same results if you buy these to replace old steel body 3.5" trailer lights. Being plastic bodies they probably won't stand up to the same abuse as older steel body models, but the price was right and I'll probably weld on a guard to protect the flashlight from accidentally dropping something, either one or one of the kids tried using it as a stand and snapping the plastic case/lantern. All in all a great purchase!
