Classic. Why would anyone use a timer on the microwave or on your smartphone when you can just wind it up and let it ring when your minutes are up? A fairly classic machine. You need to follow the instructions and start it and THEN set the time. I love it. There is a strong magnet on the back that sticks strongly to my fridge. This is an antique telephone ringer, perfect for my 1940's house. The ringtone is short (in my world, it's loud enough to be heard from a back room and doesn't startle cats and dogs). I love this item, it's perfect. Using my smartphone as a timer is a waste of battery power and takes longer than winding it up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
