how can you judge for oil filters and accessories
They say it's better for synthetic oils and I have to take their word for it because I won't be experimenting. My impression is that this keeps the oil clean between changes, but it's hard to say. I love the fact that Craftsman places these "knobs" along the outside edge to make it easier to install and remove filters with an oil filter wrench. Stock ends are a bear and can turn a five minute job into a two hour job if you mash them up with oil filter pliers. So thank you Fram for showing your common sense on this matter.
