Review on Summit Tools DPS3 085CN S 7-inch Digital Power Supply by Steve Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cannot be set up and used if display is not visible

Found that there is no way to set the torque value - if there is a buzzer, it never worked, and the instructions are so minimal it says almost nothing about when the buzzer will go off, if at all, there is no information on setting the torque value at which it buzzes, so this is only useful if you can see the display - useless when using it under a vehicle eg at an angle where you can't see the display I had to go back and get another Buy a torque wrench. It's a shame as it was quite short and would have been good for tight spaces.

Pros
  • Compact 3/8" drive digital torque wrench. Measure and maintain peak torque on the easy to read LCD display. The DPS3-085CN-S offers ONLY torque measurement – CANNOT SET THE TARGET TORQUE Use the DME series to adjust the target torque and buzzer functions
Cons
  • unreliable
