Fixed poor connection due to broken locking lugs - no more lean misfire codes
I have had intermittent problems with injectors not working causing lean fault codes to be set on one cylinder or another. The main reason was that the retaining clips broke because the connectors had become brittle from years of exposure to the engine heat under the hood. I soldered all the new connectors for all eight injectors on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird. This solved the poor electrical contact problem and I no longer get lean codes due to "misfires" that occurred when the injector wasn't pulsing.
