The floor mats for my car came with no mounting option. This caused them to slide forward and pool under the pedals. This is dangerous in any car, but the danger is even greater in a powerful car with racing pedals. I found these anchors and then looked for a clean way to drill holes in mats. I found a video showing how to drill perfect holes in a car carpet without a knife. Just find an old outlet of the diameter you need and heat it with a propane torch, attaching the outlet to the voltage. While the socket is hot, press it against the rug/mat where you want to make the hole and it will melt through the material, creating a perfect hole that won't fray or unravel. It worked great for these 15/16" socket anchors.
