They are about half the size and the flame element about 25% smaller than a regular sized flickering lightbulb. they are not much bigger than a 4 watt night light. Because they are smaller, the flame is closer to the fixture and cannot be seen as well as with full-size flickering bulbs. or a standard screw base the size of an incandescent bulb. If you are planning to use them in a candle light fixture that many people put in their windows, they would be ideal as they are smaller and not as heavy. Using it in another device would be too small. In the picture I provided, the bulb on the left is a standard size night light bulb, in the middle is the size of the bulb you will get when you buy these bulbs, and the bulb on the right is a flickering bulb in typical Size I bought yesterday. from Walmart.
