I have a Kia Sephia that had a broken CV joint. It overheated and caused the axle to jam in the hub. I've tried everything: getting lube in, hitting it with a hammer, using an air chisel, etc. I couldn't figure it out. Finally I decided to try this. A few long narrow nuts and about 10 minutes with my impact wrench (with lots of lube on the threads!) and the axle gave way and eventually popped out. He did what took me 3 days in 10 minutes. Absolutely worth your money. It looks cheap but is deceptively sturdy and well built. A few quick notes: * Not enough room for big acorn nuts, go to your auto parts store and pick up some of those "tuners". "Style" wheels usually have a long hex shank closer to the top. This gives you plenty of room when connected to a hub, and they only cost a few dollars each. Even if you break them, it's worth it.* Make sure you grease the threads of all jackbolts before using them, including this one. This will REALLY extend the life of the tool.
