I've had one for a few days now. The thermometer itself is cheap. It feels cheap and like it will break at the first drop. It feels like a toy. The lid, which holds the batteries securely in place, is difficult to close and does not close tightly. I have the feeling that the batteries will run out at any moment. The batteries that came with the thermometer were dead, I didn't learn how to use it. I'll sit down and focus on what I'm reading just in case it's user error and I missed a step or two. I'll get back to you with a follow-up inspection.
