Review on πŸ”§ Geartronics Digital Tire Pressure Gauge 150 PSI: Accurate and Convenient for Cars, Motorcycles, and Bikes - Backlight LCD, Non-Slip Grip - 2 Pack by Jose Guevara

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unreliable and YMMV: One is accurate, the other is off by 2.6psi and didn't work at first

Bought new but the bag was dirty and I think they were used and probably returned defective and again sold. The black worked well and matches another gauge I recently purchased, Nilight 50026R between 0.0 and 0.1 psi on 8 different tires, 4 at 33.0 psi and 4 at 36.0 psi per square inch . I think 7 out of 8 tires were fully functional with both gauges. Red read no pressure, just 0 psi. After more than 10 tries, it finally got the reading: 2.6 psi under black, constant. There is no reset button, you have to wait about ten seconds for it to reset to zero or toggle it on and off for the 2nd (5 seconds minimum). read. This might be fine when you're going from bus to bus, but if you need a second reading with no reset button, just wait. off and my Jeep KL TPMS. Results: Best I can say, using Nilight, Black Geartronics and Jeep TPMS as controls: Nilight 50026R was accurate to within 0-0.1psi at 33.0 with Black Geartronics. Jeep TPMS showed 33psi. and only "exactly" in steps of 0.5. That's how it all started. And why do I now have about 6 sensors. Your results may vary by device and I recommend comparing them for accuracy. Not sure I will be returning them knowing the black is good and who knows how the spares are calibrated.
