Review on πŸ”§ Enhance your Tool Efficiency with the POWERTEC UT1002 Universal Tool Stand by Keith Baker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Solid tool stand with modifications

I bought this stand as a home for my drill press which is quite heavy. About 60 pounds. I read user reviews and took a reviewer's advice by replacing the mounting screws with hex head screws, and I ditched the MDF shelves in favor of 3/4" thick plywood. The stand felt pretty stiff before I installed the shelves, and more after that. I added a caster frame, also purchased from Revain. I have mixed feelings on this point. See separate review. The stand itself works very well and I highly recommend it. I wish it would be about 4 or 5 inches taller for a drill application, but at that height it's not uncomfortable, just not ideal.
