Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ StarTech.com Single Monitor Stand - Adjustable, Supports 12''-34'' Monitors - Premium VESA Mount Stand - Silver (ARMPIVSTND) by Amanda Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy to assemble, works on a PC monitor

In my job we MUST work on a PC. That being said, we have other Apple devices and we love the streamlined looks of this brand. Enter this monitor stand. We knew we wanted something that wasn't black or white and if it had to be silver it had to look "minimal". It came closest to that score. Next we needed something that would support a VESA mount for my PC monitor. The instructions and accessories that accompany this monitor stand allow you to install it on both a PC monitor and an Imac monitor. This rating is for PC monitors only. I'm a medium-sized man who probably belongs to the weaker spectrum. I'm not a techie either. However, I actually do and this thing took me maybe 10 minutes to set up, from unboxing to installing my monitor. It was very light and durable. Here are my tips: When assembling the plate, press the bar to the ground and wedge it between your knees. We have "bottom of plate - side with four engraved circles", face up, go from top to crossbar. Try sitting in a chair and adopting a 90 degree posture. Then prepare an Allen key and insert four screws. The holes are very easy to align. Then fold the pads back onto the pillow and line up with the engraved circles. Place the plate with the crossbar on the table. Assemble the adjustable fence and plate as shown. You can easily loosen or tighten the screw by hand. Then take the monitor and screw on the plate. Please note that you will need the same hex key to "loosen" the ball piece to position it as per the image attached here. It uses four thumbscrews that you literally screw in with your fingers. You then slide it over the top of the bar and it should stop where you placed the adjustable stop. And voila! Ready. Note. The plate supports the weight of the monitor unless you're doing something weird. Think of a monitor as a console. You don't want to over-spin the monitor and expect miracles, which means the platter can only stand still if the monitor is in a reasonable position and on a solid surface. It CAN rotate if you don't support it properly, your monitor is tilted too far to one side.
