Don't waste your time with cheap models; Worth the money

This is the third brand of labeling we have purchased. The first was a very cheap build with terrible instructions. The second had no eye, no return. This is by far the best label maker we've bought and if it were cheaper we'd probably buy a few more. Winding is very important to us as our labels are on a cellophane backing that sticks to the rolls without winding. Setup was really easy. You can use any direction of unwinding as long as the holder fits properly on the container. Speed is excellent, although we did notice that it slowed down once the rewind got pretty full. We unloaded the used cellophane and it immediately accelerated. It's easy on the eye because as soon as you step on the pedal, the machine will stop once a label has been applied. Some other machines require you to stop the machine manually, which requires more work and is less accurate. Loading the label roll was easy, but we're a little scared of changing it because it's working great now. Compared to manual labelling, which takes almost a whole day, we can label 500 bottles in less than an hour. Our labels are made from fiddly metal BOPP and rarely have bubbles or creases when using a labeling machine. Very happy with this purchase and wish we had bought it first! The additional investment in a working machine is definitely worth it.

Pros
  • Easy set up and accurate labeling
Cons
  • Requires outlet
