My dealings with the online retailer Skysted, which specializes in tools and home renovation, safety and security, and flashlights, were nothing short of a living nightmare. To begin, visiting their website was like taking a step back in time to the early 2000s. It was difficult to navigate and extremely unclear, with product descriptions that made me scratch my head. When I went to the store, I couldn't decide whether I was going to acquire a power drill or a kitchen gadget. After a long wait, my order eventually arrived, and I was dismayed to discover that the products were, at best, unremarkable. The tools were weak and only completed a portion of the work that needed to be done, the materials for house renovation were incomplete, and the safety and security gadgets appeared to have been purchased from a dime store. The flashlights, though, were the true game-changer. To put it another way, if you're going to specialize in anything, you should at least make sure it's done properly. The flashlights had poor brightness, were not particularly spectacular, and failed after only a few usage. It seemed as though they were making an effort to keep secrets from me. Also, let's not overlook the need of providing good customer service. When I attempted to return the things, I was confronted with a process that was so complicated and unclear that it made me question whether or not it was even worthwhile to make the effort. To summarize, if you are searching for high-quality equipment, home improvement products, safety and security devices, or flashlights, you should look somewhere else. Skysted is the kind of online retailer that will render you clueless and make you question why you went to the trouble in the first place.
