Not for frequent opening and closing

It is possible to block a place for a small animal if the gate is installed with a press fit without the possibility of flexibility. If a pet's head can get under it, it can happen. If you're looking for something to hop on and off, it can be difficult to get on and off often. This serves as a deterrent for our 10 pound Yorkie not to try to get past.
