These grinders are awesome. They are easy to set up and come with clear instructions. The clear part of the grinder shown in the picture is the amount of salt and/or pepper. I'm revising my original review as I use a lot of salt and pepper and they hold up longer than I thought. Having used it every day since buying it, I haven't had to refill it yet. The knobs on the top are very convenient, they are stylish and can be set to a coarse or fine grind. The light is also a nice feature. I would recommend this set to anyone struggling to turn a manual coffee grinder. Added on 02/23/17. I bought them again for a gift swap party and they were a hit!
