I've tried countless different carpet cleaners when my pets have had an accident and accidentally trained our new puppy. However, neither of them seemed able to completely remove the smell from the carpet, leading to the older dog trying to "cover up" puppy accidents with his own. However, this stopped it. After the carpet was washed and treated with this shampoo, the odor became so slight that not even the dog's nose could pick it up, discouraging our older dog from trying to 'fix' what the puppy is doing . Luckily I don't need him anymore because the puppy is very trainable.
