
I was hesitant to take this inexpensive pump. The shop pump cost over $225, and this 2001 Suburban has clocked 265,000 miles on the first pump. If I drive another 50,000 km, I'll be satisfied. I cut open the access panel to get there. Draw an "X" between the driver's side second row seat bolts and the center of the "X" is the center of the pump, this will help. See photo. Do not cut the body welds. You don't have to go that far. Don't forget some tape or heavy duty tape to seal the panel after screwing or riveting some of the tabs onto it. See photo.
